Launched in November, Vamosa Community Edition has proved hugely popular in the Content Management Community. The free content analysis and migration software has had hundreds of downloads since its release one month ago.
Vamosa, market leaders in the analysis and migration of content, released Vamosa Community Edition on 14th November to allow the wider content management community to experience the benefits an automated approach to migration has to offer.
Vamosa Community Edition combines the functionality of Vamosa's market leading software (Vamosa Content Analyser and Vamosa Content Migrator) into a single product. The combination results in an end to end analysis and migration tool capable of adding value to any content management or migration project.
Owen Lovelock, Marketing Manager at Vamosa, said of the tool's success, "We launched Vamosa Community Edition to create further awareness around the benefits of an automated approach to content migration. So far the tool has worked well in meeting this objective with a higher than expected amount of interest. All the feedback we have received has been extremely positive and we expect it to continue with the same success over the coming months."
Vamosa aim to build on the success of Vamosa Community Edition going into 2007. The New Year will see new versions of the software with enhanced analysis and migration capabilities. These enhancements are all designed to improve end user experience and to continue to deliver the benefits of automated content migration to the content management community.
