John Pocock - Chairman
With a background in IBM and Andersen Consulting John Pocock has worked in the IT industry for the last 20 years. For four years he was Chief Executive of Druid Group plc leading its sale to the FI Group plc in January 2000. He subsequently became Chief Executive of MI Services Group where he worked until last year. Since then John has become Chairman of Vamosa. He runs his own music production business, Crazeltown, and is also a non-executive director of Electric & General Investment Trust PLC.
George Knox - Chief Executive Officer
George has over 15 years of successfully working within the software technology sector. Notable were his senior positions within Computer Associates where he worked for six years.
In 1994 he was co-founder of Gamut Technologies, a software services and consultancy focused on selling customer management and business intelligence software. The company was sold in January 1999 to Druid plc, the stock market listed IT services group. As part of the acquisition George joined the Druid senior management team with responsibility for running the worldwide 200 person Siebel CRM and e-business practice across the London, New York and Singapore offices. Xansa subsequently acquired Druid in March 2000 allowing George to leave under the terms of his contract.
In late 2000 George became CEO of what is now Vamosa, an e-business services company. As CEO, George brings considerable entrepreneurial vision and management experience to talented teams and is evangelical in his commitment to building companies that are of exceptional value in their fields.
